Your mission
- Development of quantum algorithms that exploit the full potential of quantum computing power, tailored to the specific companies’ requirements
- Optimization and analyzation of existing quantum algorithms in terms of efficiency and performance
- Support the development of our product lines for chemistry and life sciences
- Participation in development projects for internal stakeholders, academia, industrial collaborations, and customers
- Programming tasks, incl. documentation and reporting
- Develop and file IP and invention disclosures
- Active project work, especially OKR and SCRUM
Your profile
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Theoretical Chemistry, Theoretical Physics or a related field
- Expert knowledge in ab initio methods and density functional theory as well as in molecular modelling
- Proficient user of quantum chemistry software packages and skilled in programming with Python
- Familiar with quantum computing (QISKIT, Pennylane), machine learning, cheminformatics and/or multi-scale modelling
- Experience in industry is an advantage
- English proficiency
- High degree of independence and innovative, analytical, and creative mindset
- Very good communication skills

Your mission
- You lead the end-to-end process of applying for public funding and government grants, ensuring timely submission and compliance with all requirements
- You conduct thorough research to identify available funding opportunities
- You manage the documentation, budgeting, and reporting processes associated with funding applications and government grant initiatives
- You establish and manage partnerships to identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders such as industrial, research and academic associations, government officials and industry leaders
- You Act as a representative of the company at external events, conferences, and industry forums, delivering presentations and engaging with stakeholders to promote our mission and vision.
- You collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the executive team and technical experts, to develop highly competitive grant applications
- Full project administration within the scope of awarded grant applications, government contracts and public sector clients
Your profile
- Master's degree or PhD in a scientific field or equivalent qualifications
- Experience in developing and managing strategic partnerships, preferably in the technology or research sector.
- Proven track record in managing successful applications for public funding and government grants
- Comprehensive understanding of relevant public/government programs in the Computational Quantum sector
- Familiarity with the quantum computing landscape and emerging technologies is a plus
- Fluent in German and English
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences
- Strong project management abilities, including the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
