Kipu Quantum Unveils The First Industrial Quantum Machine Learning Service Working at Quantum-Advantage Level

13.08.2025

Berlin, Karlsruhe, Germany – August 13 – Kipu Quantum, the leading provider of advanced quantum computing solutions, today announced the launch of Huk Quantum Feature Mapping, the first commercial quantum machine learning (QML) service proven to deliver quantum advantage for industry-relevant use cases. The service is now available via the Kipu Quantum Hub platform.

With Huk, enterprises can test, benchmark, and achieve measurable performance gains over state-of-the-art classical methods—marking a historic milestone in applied quantum computing.

Game Changing Technology

The new service leverages proprietary analog quantum feature mapping technologies to transform traditional datasets into massive quantum-enhanced feature representations. The latter, when suitably fed into classical machine learning workflows, unlock patterns and correlations inaccessible to conventional feature engineering. Consequently, our tech is boosting the positive-class precision giving a 60% improvement for the molecular toxicity dataset While the classification algorithms may remain classical, the quantum preprocessing step, involving quantum-supremacy computational power, is a key driver of these unprecedented results, and the relative performance gains are expected to grow with each successive quantum hardware generation.

“This is the first commercial QML solution at a quantum-advantage level for real-world applications,” said Daniel Volz, CEO of Kipu Quantum. “With this solution, enterprises, researchers, industries, and academic institutions can harness quantum-enhanced data insights today, without waiting for fault-tolerant quantum computers.”

„With our Huk solution, we have crossed a defining moment and threshold in the history of quantum computing,” said Enrique Solano, Co-CEO of Kipu Quantum. “For the first time, a quantum machine learning service is not just a research experiment but a commercially available solution delivering measurable quantum advantage on real-world problems. This is the Zeitgeist proof that quantum computers can already solve otherwise intractable problems in medicine, finance, dual use, and science, uncovering patterns and correlations beyond the reach of classical methods. Today marks the beginning of the quantum era in applied AI, and Kipu is proud to lead the way.”

Designed for Scarce Data Scenarios

Huk Quantum Feature Mapping is ideally suited for domains where data is difficult, expensive, or ethically sensitive to obtain, including clinical trials, security data, or satellite and drone imaging. This is the case, for example, in rare disease detection, novel drug discovery, or financial risk prediction. By reducing the time, cost, and ethical burden of data collection and labeling, Kipu’s Huk solution offers a path to faster innovation and more responsible AI deployment in a large class of industrial, dual-use, medical, and scientific applications.
Huk Quantum Feature Mapping will make use of most powerful commercial quantum processors with analog, digital, annealing, and digital-analog quantum computing encodings. A number of further announcements with innovative products and services will appear soon and along the year.
